Mirroring human and society
A picture speaks about images … The girl, who one day takes THE dress out of the mother’s wardrobe, not to disguise herself, but to dress up with … trying to match to the image of her mother or more generally to match the image of a woman. We are accompanied by an idea of femininity since our childhood … The installation works like a mirror, in which we meet ourselves, with our projections and fantasies, those from our childhood and those of today. Possibly, we have some questions, too: where is the difference between preconceived, inherited ideas and the truth, the real TRUE reality?
