Reflections
No photograph without light, no photograph without shadow. The subject of these photos by Martina Büttner is the reflection being the protagonist of photography. Reflections shape new spaces, the picture in the picture leads into a third dimension, the „other way round“ into a changed perspective. This creates a narrative complexity that contributes to condensation as well as mystification of history.
